GOLF IN BELEK

In particular, after the opening of several resorts in Belek, Turkey has become the most recent favourite of international golfers and it was awarded with the title of Golf Destination of the Year - Europe 2008 by the IAGTO. Therefore, it has gained a new status as a host to international golf tournaments.The first step of the European professional golf tour, namely the Challenge Tour, will be held in Turkey in 2010 with the participation of 22 countries. Moreover, the World Golf Championship organized biennially will be held in 2012 in Belek.

The Belek district is situated about 30 km east of Antalya, has developed as the centre for golfing with its top quality courses and facilities.
